JOB SHADOWING & NEVE IN LITUANIA

Dal 27 novembre al 1° dicembre Et Labora ha partecipato all’ esperienza di Job Shadowing a Kaunas in Lituania,  ospitata dal Kaunas Vocational Training Center nell’ ambito del progetto DROP@PP. Una settimana proficua, nella quale sono stati esplorati diversi settori della formazione professionale e dell’apprendistato come l’ assistenza sociale infermieristica, la ristorazione e l’edilizia. Sono stati inoltre visitati i luoghi di lavoro degli apprendisti. Molto proficue sono risultate le discussioni con i tutor degli apprendisti per confrontarsi sui requisiti, sia professionali che comportamentali, con cui vengono selezionati i potenziali apprendisti/dipendenti. Il Kaunas Vocational Training Center ha mostrato anche un’esperienza notevole nel sostenere le persone disabili, fornendo loro formazione e servizi. Tutto ciò ha contribuito alla scoperta di modi e metodi alternativi per quanto riguarda il sistema dell’ apprendistato e ad un’ ulteriore collaborazione internazionale tra il Centro di formazione professionale Kaunas e Et Labora.

Job Shadowing & snow in Lithuania

On the 27^th November till the 1^st December Et Labora attended a Job Shadowing experience in Kaunas, Lithuania hosted by Kaunas Vocational Training Center as part of the DROP@PP project. Through a fruitful week, different fields of vocational education have been explored such as social nursing, cooking, and construction to name but a few and furthermore the workplaces of the apprentices were visited. Very productive were the discussions with the supervisors of the apprentices to extract the important requirements, both professional and behavioural, that they are looking for in prospective apprentices/employees. The Kaunas Vocational Training Center has also an impressive experience in supporting disabled people, by providing training and job services for them. All in all this experience contributed in discovering alternative ways and methods in regard to the apprenticeship system and to a further international cooperation between the Kaunas Vocational Training Center and Et Labora.
